Breganze, November 2014.  AGCO Harvesting Operations played a leading role with an absolute novelty at the kermesse in Bologna: starting from the 2014-2015 sales season the Fendt branded combines will be available on the Italian market as well.
The news was already announced to the international specialized press by Francesco Quaranta, Vice President and General Manager Global Combines Harvesting Agco last July, on the occasion of the Breganze Evolution Event. The expo in Bologna offered the opportunity to disclose the news also to the public.
“The new distribution strategy adopted for the Italian market will allow us to attract also those big farmers and agro-mechanic contractors, who already appreciate the cutting edge technology and the high quality and reliability level offered from the Fendt tractors. This is even more true as we have integrated the well proven Breganze combine platform with all the best AGCO can offer in terms of technology, efficiency and comfort”, declared Quaranta during the press conference in July.
The Premium segment combines represented from the non-conventional hybrid X Series will be exclusively available in the Fendt brand on the Italian market. The series, recently awarded as “Machine of the Year 2014” at Agritechnica with its 9040 X model, offers high performance, excellent comfort and advanced technology on board.
The Slope segment machines, with the Al Series specifically destined to the hilly territory of Italy, will be distributed in the internal market as an exclusive of the Laverda brand.
All machines of the Hi-line, Utility and Economy segment, well provided with technology and comfort, and with a coordinated family feeling according to their pertaining brand, will be marketed in Italy both in the Fendt and Laverda colors.
“The introduction of the Fendt combines in the Italian market, after the forage harvesters already distributed in the domestic market since last year, allows us to achieve our aim for a complete offer to our customers. Now we can propose a Fendt full-line also in Italy”, concluded Quaranta during the award ceremony for the first Italian customer of a Fendt combine during Eima International on November 13th, 2014.
